Please, please don't leave me

Well hello there. Welcome to my blog. Settle down, make yourself comfortable. I will tell you my story in amusing short bursts.

My name is Open Book (well, that's not my birth name, I just prefer to go by a pseudonym). I am 25, single, lesbian, freak of nature. I like chocolate, music and reading vampire books. I also enjoy writing and watching TV to escape my crappy life for a few hours. I like to perform, either singing or acting I'm not fussed.

So, why am I writing a blog? Truth be told, I'm not sure. I think I just want a place to express my opinions and write about things I care for and people I love. I very rarely get to give my views on things without getting into arguments or getting frustrated. I don't know whether thats me taking things to seriously or if I just know a bunch of confrontational people.

For example; a couple of years ago Michael Bublé (or Mickey Bubbles as I like to call him) was on The X Factor singing his new song. It was very good, he has an amazing voice. The next day I was talking to some friends about the show and about the Bubbles performance when one of them said "Yeah, he was alright but obviously miming." I proceeded to ask her why she thought this and we got into a very heated discussion about his "miming" and how it wasn't fair on the contestants who have to sing live.
My friends reasoning for this opinion was that when MB was singing he would move the microphone away from his mouth but you could still hear him. Being a singer myself, and a powerful one at that, I knew that the reason he would move the microphone was because the closer it was to his mouth the more distorted the sound would be.

Now I don't know Michael Bublé personally (mores the pity) but I could feel myself getting offended at this accusation. Maybe it is me and I take things too personally!

Anyway, I just wanted to do a quick introduction to let you know I am here and I expect to write more blogs and become famous for doing so!
